Each year, this free, virtual conference brings together members of the kidney community to learn from experts in the field and hear stories from people living with kidney disease.
This year’s theme, “Supporting You Every Step of the Way: From Diagnosis to Transplant,” includes four days of sessions featuring nephrologists, genetic counselors, renal dietitians and patient advocates discussing a variety of topics – from kidney disease tests and initial diagnosis through treatment options and advancements. Here’s a sneak peek of what you can expect to learn about each day:
March 2: Your Diagnosis and First Steps
March 3: Managing Your Kidney Disease
March 4: Considering Your Treatment Options for Kidney Failure
March 5: What’s New in Kidney Disease
This year’s event will feature small group breakout sessions for attendees to connect with others in the kidney community. Each day will also feature a Q&A session to get your questions answered about topics such as genetic counseling, kidney-friendly eating and kidney transplants.
